Churchill set for a premiere

The channel &Privé HD is all set to bring the Indian television premiere of highly acclaimed movie Churchill on January 26 at 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The film has been directed by Jonathan Teplitzky and stars Emmy award winner Brian Cox as the ace strategist Winston Churchill, and Golden Globe winner Miranda Richardson as his wife, Clementine.

The British historic drama, set during the Second World War follows the life of British Prime Minister, Churchill, in the days prior to the Normandy Landings Operation. Fearful of repeating past mistakes, he is reluctant to embark on the largescale campaign. The troubled leader, however, receives unwavering support from his devoted wife. She inspires him to achieve greatness by preventing him from physical and mental breakdown. Cox delivers an extraordinary performance, portraying Churchill through multiple lenses.
