Most certainly the world wasn’t built in a day, and neither were we, if not this realization, Bollywood and TV celebrities do have something going in their mind. Because no matter how punishing their shooting schedules are, no matter how they are made to have breakfast in Italy and dinner in Mumbai, they still stick to their fitness regime, pretty religiously.

Actor Salman Khan is known to move around with a portable gym and so does John Abraham. In fact, on the sets, both the actors ensure that their co-actors eat healthy and get into the fitness mould. Exactly, sexy bods are not made in a day, it is a step-by-step process, and these celebrities lets us walk through these steps.

Changing scenario
Arunoday Singh, actor

Push ups: I try to change my fitness regime as often as I can. If I keep doing the same thing, my body will get used to it. So, I try different things like cross training, functional, yoga and kick boxing.

Time bound: I workout religiously, everyday, as long as my body can take it.

Munch on: I have an equally flexible diet routine, which depends on the nature of my work. Generally, I like to stay healthy and eat healthy. And I eat a lot since I have a big body!

A big no: I stay away from alcohol, and if I could, I would want to stay away from ice cream, but sadly I can’t.

Character driven
Amit Sadh, actor

Push ups: My fitness routine changes according to the character I am doing at the moment. Currently, my entire focus is on losing weight. Otherwise, I don’t have any fancy routine that I follow. I do all kinds of exercises from pilates to yoga, martial arts, cardio and swimming. I cycle everyday at Carter Road, Mumbai because I feel this is the best form of exercise.

Time bound: I cycle everyday and the same goes for my workout.

Munch on: I am on a high protein and high carbohydrate diet.

A big no: Caffeine and milk, I am off both the things.

Alive and kicking
Sonu Sood, actor

Push ups: I go to gym every day and work out for almost 2 hours and jog for around 40 minutes. First thing at the gym is cardio for 20 minutes, followed by some stretches to cool the body temperature down. I like to concentrate on two body parts a day along with my abs, which I work on for 15-20 minutes. Also, every couple of months I practice kick-boxing for about 15-20 days.

Munch on: I am a vegetarian but I eat eggs. My diet includes lots of proteins like lentils, grains and legumes. I drink two protein shakes a day.

A big no: No smoking, no alcohol and no junk food.

Water component
Luke Kenny, actor-musician

Push up: I wake up early every morning and hit the gym straight on, where I maintain a specific exercise regime. My idea is to focus on a specific body part that needs exercising.

Munch on: I am a vegetarian and I have been one for a while now. I have also minimised my intake of dairy products to a certain extent. I try to drink at least two litres of water a day minimum to keep the body hydrated and alert.

A big no: Fried food, something I keep at bay or stay away from as much as I can.

Fat chance
Parth Samthan, TV actor

Push up: I do workout at the gym thrice a week, where twice a week it is cardio exercises for me.

Much on: I eat just about everything that has good amount of proteins and also a decent intake of carbs everyday.

Time bound: I spend at least 45 minute to 1 hour in the gym.

A big no: Foods with high fat content is a no for me.
