Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra was recently in news for being a part of a commercial made to promote Nirav Modi's jewellery brand. The actress has now landed in another controversy.

Priyanka, who is the brand ambassador for Assam tourism, is seen in a short dress on the tourism calendar which has made political leaders upset. Members of the state assembly debated over how Priyanka's skin show is bringing a bad name to the Assam culture. They have even demanded to replace Priyanka by a regional actor as the brand ambassador.

Reportedly, MLAs Nandita Das and Rupjyoti Kurmi initiated the matter in Assam assembly and criticised the Quantico star for wearing a revealing outfit in the photos and said her pictures “were not sober at all". However, Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) stands by Priyanka and doesn't find anything objectionable with her picture.
