Giannini joins Catch-22

Oscar-nominated actor Giancarlo Giannini has reportedly joined the cast of George Clooney’s Catch-22 TV series. The shooting of the series is all set to start in Sardinia. Giannini will play Marcello, the owner of a Rome brothel, who is “weathered and once handsome but still debonair”. Catch-22 is a six-part adaptation of Joseph Heller’s anti-war classic novel with the same name. The series is scheduled to air in 2019.
