Artistes from the entertainment world are always in a dilemma as how much to reveal and how much to hide about their personal lives. They do get touchy when someone trespasses their privacy. While on the other hand, there are artistes, who are being written about all the time. This time in Punjabi circle, there are happenings which are stranger than fiction!

Black is back

This should be a happy moment for the Punjabi film industry and for the man himself, Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaaj gets his first award as an actor for his much-talked about film, The Black Prince, based on the life of Maharaja Duleep Singh. Sartaaj was given the Award of Merit by the Jury of Acolade at the Global Film Competition in USA where the cast and crew are promoting the film. Sartaaj mentions this on his FB page where he posts—

Someone is miffed

Punjabi singer-actor Babbu Mann is a man who is known to be creating trends rather than following them. The singer has more popularity than all the new-age Punjabi singers put together, but recently Babbu Mann got really miffed when a media house wrote something about him and politics, without taking his permission. The singer vented his anger on his page by posting this.

Dubai Wale Shaikh is a track from the upcoming Punjabi movie Manje Bistre, starring Gippy Grewal and Simi Chahal along with a battery of Punjabi actors. Internet is flooded with messages on the song. People are liking the title Dubai Wale Shaikh as much the song itself which is a fun number. The song has been sung by Gippy Grewal and Nimrat Khaira. 

Wishes from the King

Guess what made Punjabi singer B Jay Randhawa’s day? He recently received wishes from Shah Rukh Khan congratulating him for his second Punjabi single, Star. Shah Rukh Khan apparently asked people to check out the teaser of the single which he liked a lot. The lyrics of Star is written by Jaani, the video has been shot by Arvindr Khaira and it features Sukh E. B Jay’s debut single Gabru has recieved a good response from the listeners. His latest track Star is touted to make him a big star, Pollywood star maybe!
