It’s a wrap

The award-winning crime thriller series Homeland is coming to an end. The series starring Claire Danes will soon see a wrap up. Danes confirmed in a recent interview that the series is ending after its eighth season. “Yeah, that’s it,” the actress said when asked about the rumours that the next season will be the show’s last one. 

Homeland was renewed for a seventh and eighth season ahead of its sixth season premiere. The series debuted to great critical acclaim, winning the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series for its first season; Danes has taken home a pair of Emmys for best lead actress in a drama series and been nominated a total of five times. Homeland’s currently airing season 7 is considered to be the best season so far.
