Kangana termed ‘hypocrite’

Kangana with Jim Sarbh at Cannes Film Festival held recently.

Actors Jim Sarbh and Kangana Ranaut were in Cannes recently for the annual film festival. Both of them, who rocked the style statement, however, are now in a fix. A video is doing the rounds on the social media in which Jim is seen cracking a ‘rape’ joke and it surely hasn’t gone down well with people. What’s made them angrier is Kangana’s reaction to it. In the video, Jim is heard saying, “I’d rather be raped by 12 prostitutes than touch alcohol…” and Kangana is laughing loud on this

statement. Kangana, who had condemned Salman Khan’s rape statement last year, is now being slammed and termed a ‘hypocrite’ for cracking up at Jim’s insensitive joke.

However, Jim in a statement has given his clarification and said, “First of all, I understand the environment we live in just now, in light of recent events, but more frankly, in light of events going on since the beginning of human consciousness, rape is a deadly serious issue. I treat it as such. The joke that I made is about a Priest blowing a very casual question completely out of proportion, condemning alcohol, prostitutes, and rape all simultaneously.”
