Veteran actor Anupam Kher’s short film Kheer has bagged the Best International Short Film award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

Anupam on Friday tweeted: “Our short film Kheer has won a big prize. We got the Best International Short Film award for Kheer at the Vancouver international Film Festival. Jai Ho to the entire team.” Directed by Surya Balakrishnan, the short film also stars Natasha Rastogi, Abhimanyu Chawla and Stuti Dixit. Kheer is about an elderly couple in love. — IANS
