An actor inspired

What prompted you to take up the role of Sameer in the show?

It is a fresh concept and a different take on love stories. The primary reason for me to opt for this project was because I belong to the same era. It has been a great experience and I am sure that the audiences will love the show.

What is the inspiration behind the story-line of this show?

The show has been inspired from the real-life love story of our show’s producers Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal. 

Any special preparations to fit in your on-screen avatar?

For this show, I have reduced my weight to look younger. I have lost almost 10 kilos! I have also changed my hair-style to sport long hair, influenced by the heroes of popular movies during the era. I also changed my mannerisms a bit to look more stylish and suave. 

How are you different from Sameer in real life?

My favourite thing about Sameer is the way he carries himself, he has a very stylish dressing sense. And this also strikes a chord with me in real life, as I am very particular while stepping out of home to meet friends, parties or for any assignments. 

How do you define yourself?

I am just an actor trying to do my best.

What are your future plans?

Right now, this show is my priority.
