Playing love guru

Shantanu Maheshwari has turned host for MTV’s new show Love On The Run. Saluting the power of love, MTV recently launched this fiction series, which celebrates the passion of young love, which gives lovers the courage to stand by each other against all odds. Inspired by real-life stories, Love On The Run will take viewers through the adventurous lives of couples who are madly in love but have the social odds stacked against them!

The show highlights the evil systems of our society that create hurdles for the youngsters. Giving viewers a perspective on young love, the host of the show, Shantanu, will question the orthodox ideologies that are still prevalent in our society. Talking about his first stint as host, he says, “I am amazed to know that despite being the most progressive nation, we have so many restrictions on love. It’s disappointing to know that such kind of evil practices are still prevalent in our country. This is my first attempt at hosting and I hope that audience  will like it.”
