Punjabi film Carry On Jatta 2 has gone on to become the biggest commercial hit of 2018, a reason enough to attract artistes from Bollywood and Hindi television industry. If sources are to be believed, then two new and known faces will be making their debut in Punjabi films. 


Please welcome the beauties

Well-known South Indian actress Kajal Aggarwal and known face of the TV industry, Sanjeeda Shaikh, will make their debut in Punjab movies this year. According to sources, Kajal will be debuting opposite Binnu Dhillon, while Sanjeeda will be seen opposite Amrinder Gill in his upcoming film. 


What’s the difference!

Many Punjabi singers these days like to give English titles to their singles. Singer Amrit Mann has shared the name of his track called Difference. With a name like this you can expect it to be really different.


The navi jodi

Punjabi singer-actress Nimrat Khaira shared a poster of her upcoming film. The untitled film stars Tarsem Jassar as the lead actor and releases on October 5. This is Nimrat’s first Punjabi film as the lead actress. 


Looks like he is back

Tough times don’t last but tough people do, and video director, singer and lyricist Parmish Verma is all set to validate the saying. After the untoward incident, Parmish is back to work, he recently shared the poster of his upcoming single, Dhol Wajea. The music of the track is given by Desi Crew. Parmish has now become active again on social media, which comes as good news for his fans, who have been missing him. 


Best of both the worlds

Popular music director Jatinder Shah has shared the first-look poster of his much-awaited project Nankana. Produced by Jatinder Shah and Pooja Gujral, the film stars Gurdas Maan in the lead role. Nankana, directed by Manjeet Mann, releases on July 6.


Gippy to direct a Hindi film 

In a recent interview Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal disclosed that he has been signed by a well-known production house in Bollywood to direct a Hindi film! The artiste is quoted saying, “I have been signed on as a director for a Hindi film which has a huge star cast. I got the offer after the makers saw my Punjabi film Ardaas that was directed by me.” 

The news has it that actress Tapsee Pannu has already been signed for this project! Gippy is currently hunting for locations for his upcoming film Manje Bistre 2. He recently shared a fun picture on his FB.
