An anchor, VJ and now an actor — meet Rose Sardana, a bubbly girl from Chandigarh, who is appearing on television with upcoming serial Hum Apke Ghar Mein Rehte Hain in which she plays the lead character of Pinky.

Rose has been into anchoring for the past three years. Being a graduate in computer science, she had quite a comfortable job with Wipro in Bengaluru. But being passionate about acting, as she is, she left the job and came back to Chandigarh to pursue her passion. Her parents, Arjun and Sharda Sardana supported her decision.

She worked as an anchor and then shifted to the dream city, Mumbai, one year ago. Since then, she has been part of many reputed shows all over India and abroad. Rose has shared the stage with many Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and famous singers like Arijit Singh, Javed Ali, Mohammed Irfan, Gurdas Maan and many more.

After establishing herself as an anchor in Mumbai, she started giving auditions for television. And she made her debut in Balaji Telefilm’s popular show ‘Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi’ on Colors. She played the role of Shanaya, opposite Shikhar Mehra played by popular TV actor Arjun Bijlani.

About her experience of the first day on the sets, she shares, “I was very nervous, given the fact that I was making my debut in such a big banner’s show. But everyone on the set was very nice and that helped me getting comfortable.”

She got her second role in ‘Badi Devrani’ on &Tv. She plays the role of Aanchal in it.

About the preparation for the upcoming role, she says “I can somewhat relate to this character as I myself am a big Bollywood fan and love to live in the fantasy world. However for preparing for this role, I am watching many Bollywood movies these days and observing closely Sridevi’s and Kareena Kapoor’s characters in movies like ChaalBaaz, Chandni and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.”
