Neeraj took his last breath on Thursday morning around 4 am. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit broke the news on Twitter and revealed that Vora was on ventilator and had multi-organ failure. 

He tweeted, “Sad to know that one of the finest actors, writer, director, producer & a dear friend Neeraj Vora passed away early morning at #Criticare Hospital, Juhu. The cremation will be held at 3 pm at SantaCruz West #Mumbai. Opp Police station.#RIP,”

Neeraj had several blockbuster movies to his credit. He acted in films like Singham, Rangeela, Company, Satya, Baadshah and more. As a writer, he is known for movies like Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri. Reportedly, he was working on the script of Hera Pheri 3 as well. Many celebrities from Bollywood took to Twitter to share their condolence. Akshay Kumar, who has worked with Neeraj Vora for Hera Pheri series wrote, “One of the main reasons behind my foray into comedy, saddened to hear about the demise of #NeerajVora a multi-talented man, writer, director, actor...a mini industry by himself, learnt so much from him. RIP.” May his soul rest in peace!
