Eco friendly: Neil Nitin Mukesh

With two back-to-back hits, Neil Nitin Mukesh is once again back in the track. The actor now wants to draw attention towards cruelty against animals, of abused elephants, which are used for tourist joyrides.

The actor is an active member of Peta and has been talking about issues like safety of animals. The actor unveils the new campaign, where he portrays a wounded and bruised image to show how animals feel when they are treated that way.

In the campaign, he looks totally bruised with an ankus, a sharp iron hook used to prod elephants near his face. The tagline of the campaign reads, “Try to relate to their fate: Elephants used for joy rides are abused.”

Neil also took to micro-blogging account and wrote, “Coming soon! My @PetaIndia campaign to help elephants used for joy-rides. Stay tuned :)”

Reportedly, he also said that people should pledge not to indulge in elephant ride in order to make the animals life painless and happy.

He said that a moment of amusement means a lifetime of suffering for these mammals whose spirit is broken through the ruthless torture caused by the ankus and chains.
