This Sunday we all woke up to shocking news;  Bollywood’s young actress, Zaira Wasim, was allegedly molested on a flight. An Instagram live video shared by her went viral on social media. The entire episode was quite disturbing, but, unfortunately, many B-Town actresses too have faced harassment in past. Here’s a look.

Kangana Ranaut 

Kangana Ranaut shared an incident where, when she was just 17 years old, she was stalked and hit by a man! This man was reportedly from Bollywood and had acted as Kangana’s mentor. The actress was physically hurt and an FIR was filed against the man. But he was released immediately with just a warning.

Crazy mob 

Katrina Kaif 

Way back in 2005, Katrina Kaif was molested by a mob in Kolkata, while she was attending the auspicious Durga Puja function organised by the renowned committee in South Kolkata. 

Public shame

Gul Panag 

The fit and fabulous Gul Panag was also molested while running at the Delhi marathon. A few men running along with her came a bit to close and started touching her inappropriately.

Women are fighters, says Kareena 

    Kareena Kapoor Khan, at a recent event in Mumbai said, women are capable of fighting their way out of every situation in life. “I think women are way more superior then men. We are fighters and whatever the situation might be in our life — be it personal or professional — we all come out as fighters. Like I said before, we call our god Laxmi, we pray to her and she is a woman, and when we talk about our land, we call it motherland...so, women are way more superior. We will fight out of every situation in life,” Kareena said. Zaira, apart from celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Bhumi Pednekar and Sushant Singh Rajput, was present for the event.
