This is what B-town did on D-day

In Bollywood, Diwali is not just about puja, decorating home and playing the traditional dress-up. It’s also about celebrities hopping from one Diwali party to another. From pre-Diwali parties that were hosted earlier in the week by Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor; on Thursday, it was Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, who threw big Diwali parties! 

Diwali hopping 

Sanjay Dutt’s party was attended by Jacqueline Fernandez, R Madhavan, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Karan Johar, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra and many more. Seen in attendance at Aamir Khan’s Diwali bash were Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor with Mira Rajput, to name a few. And Anil Kapoor’s Diwali party was attended by the entire Kapoor family, Swara Bhasker, Sonakshi Sinha amongst others.

Just us, no one else 

Meanwhile, there were a few Bollywood actors who preferred to stay back home and celeberate the Festival of Lights with their immediate families only. These were Amitabh Bachchan’s family including Abhishek and Aishwarya, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna and Ajay Devgn-Kajol. Kangana was seen celebrating Diwali with sister Rangoli.
