What new things can audiences expect from the show?

The character of Sameer has made me a household name and has received much love from our fans and viewers. But now, with the college track, the viewers will see Sameer transforming into a more responsible person. However, there will also be a fun side of college life in the ’90s, which I am sure will create nostalgia for a lot of viewers.

Will Sameer and Naina’s love story see a new turn?

Well, I am not going to give away the entire plot. However, Sameer will move back to Ahmedabad while Naina will continue to study there. Like any other love story, our story too will progress and move into another new phase. 

How different will the college avatar be?

The college time of ’90s was altogether a different time period in itself. The college fests of the ’90s were full of dance, music and singing competitions, fun and frolic in the canteens and much more. While these still are a part of everyone’s college life even today, we will be going back to the days of 1992-93 and bringing alive the essence of college life in that period.

Will Sameer be popular among ladies in college too?

Well, you will have to wait and watch to know about that. But given Sameer’s charm and look, he definitely stands a strong chance to climb to the popularity charts. 

What are the similarities between you and Sameer?

Honestly, there are a lot of similarities between Sameer as a character and me, Randeep, as a person. With the show moving into a completely new phase with the college track, it totally feels that I am reliving my college life all over again but in a completely new avatar and a different era. 

What do you think will work? 

The industry only likes being right and perfect.

What keeps you busy when not on sets?

Dancing, I love it. I also love watching television.
