When Mahadev met Vyajanthimala!

Meeting a veteran actor has a charm of its own. And it was a double treat for actor Tarun Khanna, who plays the role of Mahadev in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Karamphaldata Shani, when he met actress Vyajanthi Mala, who told him that she was a big fan of his show.

Tarun was attending a wedding in Delhi recently, where veteran actress Vyajanthimala was also present. Says Tarun, “My friend took me to meet her. To my pleasant surprise, she knew that I was playing Mahadev in Karamphaldata Shani. She is a fan of the show too. I was thrilled to know that she liked my work and that she especially mentioned my portrayal of Rudra avtar of Shiva.”

The actor was obviously in high spirits after this meeting. He also shared his admiration for her, “She is ‘the’ gorgeous actress of all times. She was phenomenal in all her movies, Naya Daur, Amrapali and Sangam!”
