Writing books is a priority: Chetan Bhagat

Author-producer Chetan Bhagat says writing books will always be a priority for him.

Bhagat, who has penned books like "Five Point Someone", "One Night @ the Call Center", "The 3 Mistakes of My Life", "2 States", "Revolution 2020", "Half Girlfriend" and "One Indian Girl", ventured into film production with the 2017 film "Half Girlfriend".

Asked if he is going to take a step back from writing books, Bhagat told IANS over e-mail: "No, writing books is a priority. I will be in a co-producer capacity, so there will be a team looking at production." Over the years, Bhagat's books "The 3 Mistakes of My Life", "2 States" and "Half Girlfriend", have been made into films.

Is he planning to make any more movies on his books?

"Yes, I am looking to find the right team for 'Revolution 2020' and 'One Indian Girl', with both of them having their own set of fans," he said. — IANS
