Ludhiana: The Division No. 7 police have booked six persons, including a woman, on the charge of stealing goods from a garment store situated in Sector 32 A opposite Police Colony.



Ludhiana: The Division No. 7 police have booked six persons, including a woman, on the charge of stealing goods from a garment store situated in Sector 32 A opposite Police Colony. The suspects include Vikas Kumar, his wife and three unknown persons. The complainant, Rajni Rani, a resident of MIG flats, told the police that on June 15, she received a call from her worker that five persons, including a woman, forcibly entered the showroom and took away Rs 19,200 in cash, 116 ladies suits and 40 T-shirts. They fled with the stolen goods in their car. TNS

Two decamp with valuables 

Ludhiana: Two Nepalese servants were booked by the Jamalpur police on the charge of committing burglary at a house in Jamalpur Colony. The accused have been identified as Ramesh Bahadur and Raj Bahadur. The complainant, Ramnik Kumar told the police that on June 13, he, along with his family, had gone to Manali for vacations and left their two servants at home for supervision. When they returned home two days after, they found locks of all rooms broken and servants missing. The servants took away Rs 1 lakh in cash, three branded watches, silver coins and other valuables. Youth held with stolen bike

Ludhiana: The city police have nabbed a man on the charges of stealing a motorcycle. He has been identified as Ashish Kumar, a resident of Kundanpuri. The police said they got a tip-off that the accused was roaming around on a stolen motorcycle in the Salem Tabri area on June 12. The police laid a trap near Damoria bridge 

and nabbed him. TNS
