8-member panel to screen LIP MC poll candidates

LUDHIANA: Lok Insaaf Party president Simarjit Singh Bains said the candidates for the MC elections in Ludhiana would be screened by an eight-member committee, which was constituted and announced at Circuit House here today.

Ludhiana, December 12

Lok Insaaf Party president Simarjit Singh Bains said the candidates for the MC elections in Ludhiana would be screened by an eight-member committee, which was constituted and announced at Circuit House here today.

Bains said the screening committee would be headed by party president (district) Baldev Singh. The other members of the panel include Surinder Singh Grewal, Baljit Singh Maan, Gurmitpal Singh PPahwa, Parminder Grewal, Vipan Sood, Randhir Singh Sibia and Shashi Malhotra. Bains said honest persons would be chosen as the contestants and they would be screened by the committee. Final approval would be given by senior party leaders.
