Burglars steal 50-tola gold

Ludhiana, June 21

Burglars decamped with cash and 50 tolas of gold jewellery from a house at Bhagat Singh Colony, Salem Tabri, on the nigh of Wednesday. The incident came to light in the morning.

According to Mansi Khanna, they were sleeping in one room on Wednesday night when burglars entered the house and decamped with cash and jewellery. The house owner claimed that Rs 8,000 in cash and 50 tolas of gold jewellery were stolen from his houses.

After getting information, the police reached the house and started investigation. It was learn that forensic experts also reached the spot.

Investigating officer Manjit Singh said CCTV cameras installed in the area are being checked to get any clue to the burglars.
