Canadian faculty visits GADVASU

LUDHIANA: Dr Nigel Caulkett, Head, and Dr Rebecca Archer, Instructor, in Department of Veterinary Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Calgary, visited the Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University GADVASU), Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, April 20

Dr Nigel Caulkett, Head, and Dr Rebecca Archer, Instructor, in Department of Veterinary Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Calgary, visited the Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University GADVASU), Ludhiana.

Dr Caulkett and Dr Archer had a series of meetings and gave lectures on “Anesthesia in the wild” and “From cheap to expensive: What simulator works well for teaching veterinary students”.

GADVASU Dean Dr SK Uppal, and dean Veterinary Science College, Dr Parkash Singh Brar, discussed “Canine Research Centre”, the project awarded to the GADVASU by the Government of India.

Dr JPS Gill, director of research, informed that the University of Calgary and the GADVASU will shortly sign MoU for clinical collaboration on area of mutual interest and exchange of students and scientists.
