Ludhiana, August 7

The annual general body meeting of Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust was held at Divyang Sahayata and Punarvas Kendra, Rishi Nagar, here on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner Pardeep Agarwal was the chief guest, besides chairman, Avon Cycles, Onkar Singh Pahwa, MD, Tech Auto, Anil Gupta, and PK Maheshwari were the guests of honour on the occasion.

Free artificial limbs distribution camp was also organised on the occasion. As many as 11 physically challenged persons were provided artificial limbs, calipers, tricycles and hearing aids at the camp.

A trustee, Pankaj Jindal, read out the annual report for 2016-17. He said, “Till now, as many as 965 lower limbs, 90 upper limbs, 134 tricycles, 502 callipers, 513 hearing aids and other helping aids have been given to physically challenged persons free of cost.”
