Chinese delegation meets city bizmen

LUDHIANA: Delegation consisting five members from China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA), China, visited and interacted with Industrialists of Ludhiana today.

Delegation consisting five members from China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA), China, visited and interacted with Industrialists of Ludhiana today.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, president, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) said in the meeting it was decided that CICU will send a delegation to China during forthcoming exhibition to China and correspondent CAMDA members from China will participate in the IETSS-2018 in Ludhiana. It will help in increasing exports of agriculture machinery to China. He further added tractor price was lower in India as compared to China, this give a indication that farm implement can be exported to China, said Ahuja.

Chen Tao, vice-chairman of the association said the rapid development of China’s agricultural machinery industry was closely related to the policy of agricultural machinery subsidies, which firstly implemented in 2004.

In 2016, the subsidy reached $3 billion US.
