Chinese food festival on in city

Ludhiana: Rare Eastern Dining (RED), a Chinese restaurant at Radisson Blu Hotel, MBD, is celebrating the Chinese Valentine’s Day featuring traditional delicacies created by Chef Amit Thapliyal and his team.  The festival is on till August 28.  The festival is also called ‘Double Seventh Festival’ as it falls on the seventh day of the seventh month as per the Chinese calendar or Qixi Festival. Festival originated from the romantic legend of Zhinü (weaver maid) and Niulang (cowherd).
