Car catches fire in Khamano

KHAMANO: Two occupants of a car had a narrow escape when the car in which they were travelling caught fire at Sanghpl today.

Two occupants of a car had a narrow escape when the car in which they were travelling caught fire at Sanghpl today. The duo was going in an Indigo car to Ludhiana from Chandigarh. When they reached at Sanghol suddenly the car caught in fire allegedly due to short circuit in AC.

The occupants managed to escape from the burning car. After information the Sanghol police reached on the spot and informed fire brigade at Mandi Gobindgarh but the car was burnt to ashes. Choki incharge of Sanghol Kulwinder Singh said the car was completely gutted in fire before fire brigade could reach.
