New Commissioner attends review meeting on Smart City

A review meeting of the Smart City project was held today under the leadership of Saurabh Jain, a senior IAS officer from Delhi.

The meeting was attended by new Commissioner Jaskiran Singh and Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Aggarwal in the presence of other senior officials.

Surbhi Malik, associated with the project, said since some changes were made and new board of directors had come, not much could be discussed but a review was done. Very soon another executive meeting would be held by the directors and decisions regarding the projects in the pipeline would be taken. “But the work is on fast track now,” Malik said.
