MANDI AHMEDGARH: With intent to strengthen economic position of farmers of the area, the agricultural department has introduced new concept of beehive at a farm in association with Syngenta.

With intent to strengthen economic position of farmers of the area, the agricultural department has introduced new concept of beehive at a farm in association with Syngenta.

Apiculturists led by Dr RK Thakur, head, All India Coordinated Research Project- Honeybees and Pollinators (ICAR), Dr Sukhpal Singh, chief agriculture officer, Ludhiana, Dr Jaspal Singh called upon farmers of villages falling under Dehlon block to adopt the scheme, which besides fetching income through honey and wax production would also enhance yield of the main crops.
