Railways to run another festival-special train

LUDHIANA: To clear the extra rush of rail passengers during the festival season, Railways will run another special train. The 82401/82402 Delhi Jn.-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi Jn. Tri-weekly Suvidha AC Express Special will run from October 1 to November 17.

To clear the extra rush of rail passengers during the festival season, Railways will run another special train. The 82401/82402 Delhi Jn.-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Delhi Jn. Tri-weekly Suvidha AC Express Special will run from October 1 to November 17. The train will make 21 trips in each direction (total 42 trips) during this period.

The 82401 Delhi Jn.-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Tri-weekly Suvidha AC Express Special train will depart from Delhi Jn. on October 1 to November 17 on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 11.05 pm to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 12.15 pm the next day. In the return direction, the train (82402) will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on October 2 to November 18 on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 2.00 pm to reach Delhi Jn. at 3.40 am the next day.

The train will have a 10-minute halt at Ludhiana. While running from Delhi Jn. to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, the train will arrive at 4.25 am and depart at 4.35 pm on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and in the return direction, the train will arrive at 9.40 pm and depart at 9.50 pm on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Comprising 12 AC-3 Tier and two second class-cum-luggage van coaches, the train will stop at Panipat, Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt., Pathankot Cantt., Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations en route in both the directions.
