Star cast of upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Qissa Punjab’ was in the city today. Actors Dheeraj Kumar, Jagjeet Sandhu, Preet Bhullar, Aman Dhaliwal, Harshpreet Kaur, Kul Sidhu, scriptwriter Uday Pratap Singh, Harshjot Kaur, director Jatinder Mauhar apart from producer Anu Bains were in the city for the promotion of the movie. Anu said this is the first movie from her production house and she has tried to portray the current situation of Punjab through different aspects of lives of Punjabi youth. The lives of different persons provide a backdrop to the film, she said.

Six different characters are protagonists in the movie presenting different situations and kind of issues that the youth is facing. Different characters deal with issues including drug addiction, a struggling singer trying to make it big, a snatcher making a living, a struggling actress, problems faced by a player and a student fighting odds to complete her education.
