GRADUATION CEREMONY

Ludhiana: Darshan Academy organised the graduation ceremony for pre-primary wing themed ‘Glories of Childhood’. Chamkor Singh, Assistant Registrar, Ludhiana, was the chief guest. The programme started with the lighting of a lamp which was followed by ‘Ganesh Vandana’. Principal Rajdeep K Aulakh welcomed the chief guest. Students of pre-primary and primary wing presented different dance performances. After an oath-taking ceremony, the little graduates walked across the stage in little strides with new found confidence, wearing graduation hats to receive their certificates. The principal and the chief guest handed over the graduation certificates to the tiny tots. The chief guest also addressed the tiny tots and wished them good luck for their future. The function ended with a vote of thanks by the Headmaster Sandeep Dadwal.

Seminar 

A Seminar on ‘Self Evaluation – A way to move forward’ was organised at BVM School, Sec-39, Chandigarh Road, for the teachers. HImani Mittal associated with Acharya Institute, Delhi, was the resource person. She inspired and motivated the teachers. She asked them to follow the circle – self assessment-  > setting of plan-  > implementation of plan-  > formative assessment-  > summative evalution — to have a well-evaluated & developed life. —TNS
