PAU protest enters Day 14

LUDHIANA: The joint protest march being organised by the PAU Employees’ Union, PAU Teachers Association and PAU Fourth class workers Union in favour of their demands has entered into 14th day today.

The joint protest march being organised by the PAU Employees’ Union, PAU Teachers Association and PAU Fourth class workers Union in favour of their demands has entered into 14th day today. The protest march started in the morning from the office of the PAU Employees Union, passed through students’ home, PAU library, flag post and ended before the administrative block.

A large number of employees and teachers staged a dharna after the protest march before the administrative block, protesting against the Vice-Chancellor and PAU authorities.

While addressing the employees Baldev Singh Walia, President of the PAU Employees Union, warned the authorities if their demands are not met immediately, they would be forced to intensity the struggle to get their demands fulfilled.

He further added that they will lock down the administrative block of the university on April 25.
