Eight booked for gambling

LUDHIANA:The city police have booked eight persons on the charge of gambling.

Ludhiana, October 18

The city police have booked eight persons on the charge of gambling. They were identified as Malkit Singh, Harjit Singh, Raj Kumar, Davinder Singh, Sarabjit Singh, Rachpal Singh, Manjinder Singh, and Tarlok Singh. 

 The police said acting on a tip off a raid was conducted and the accused were nabbed red-handed while they were gambling on the Dugri road. A case under the Gambling Act was registered against the accused.
