Father’s Day was celebrated with much fanfare at De Treeville Eatery, Model Town, on Sunday.

On the occasion, a special set up was arranged for kids to spend some memorable moments with their fathers. Children sang songs and participated in various activities with their parents.

Dr MS Ahlawat, a father said, “Earlier people were not aware of Father’s and Mother’s Day. Now, children express their love and gratitude on these particular days. Such get togethers create special bond in a family.”

Parveen, a daughter said, “This is a way of telling parents that they exist in our lives and make them feel special.”

Harshdeep Singh, another parent said, “Yesterday my children stayed awake for whole the night to prepare a Father’s Day card. Such things make parents feel special. We should cherish moments like these.”
