Ludhiana, June 21
A clash took place between two groups at a liquor vend, near Malhotra Chowk, at Moti Nagar on Wednesday night.
The Moti Nagar police registered a case against Makhan, of the 33 feet Road area; Rajvir and Vishal, both from Rajiv Gandhi Colony; and around 10 unidentified persons.
Gobind Patel of Muslim Colony said Makhan called him to the liquor vend to discuss a matter related to two-day old scuffle. He claimed that he took his friends Rinku, Johni and Sunny along.
Patel alleged that the other group members attacked them with sticks. Makhan allegedly fired into the air five times, he complained.
The suspects were yet to be arrested. — TNS
