House ruckus: AAP workers protest against state govt

Khanna, June 23

Leaders and workers from AAP of the area today assembled at Khanna and burnt an effigy of the Punjab Government and Speaker Rana KP Singh at Lalheri Chowk, Khanna.

The workers, led by the MC Anil Datt Phalli raised slogans against the government.

In his address, Phalli and other leaders said the action of state government in assembly yesterday as unconstitutional and it was a murder of the democracy.

The leaders said even the women MLA’s were not spared, which was shameful. They demanded an apology from the government for this action.

Ram Singh Hole, Baljinder Singh and a number of other local leaders and workers of the area were present at this time. The Khanna Police had made security arrangements to avoid any untoward incident. The AAP workers protested peacefully.
