Ludhiana: Eastwood International School organised a ‘Visit to Kitty Bread Industries’ for the students of classes XI and XII (Commerce). The students got an opportunity to watch the working in the industry. The school representatives said the objective of this visit was to enhance in the students a practical business approach with the help of which they could make their business studies projects easily. Principal Bakshi promised to organise such visits in future also as these visits make the students aware about business works.

World Food Day observed

Montessori Wing of Ryan International School celebrated World Food Day. Various activities were conducted wherein the tiny tots learnt about food and cooking. Flameless cooking was carried out for the little ones of Montessori. The children prepared various delicacies such as Bhelpuri, salads and biscuit decoration.

‘Night Out’ activity held

Planet E Senior Secondary School organised a 'Night Out' activity for classes I to XI to develop sharing, caring and friendly attitude among children. The evening started with a variety of fun games such as treasure hunt, one-minute games, musical chair, pajama party, bonfire and students played football in a playground. Students enjoyed the evening snacks and a delightful dinner was served for them. The next day, children went for morning walk followed by yoga exercises. They were served breakfast and gifts were given to the winners of games by the school Principal Suman Arora.

USPC Jain Public School 

The school celebrated Diwali with great fanfare, devotion and excitement. A special assembly on the theme 'Green Diwali' was conducted by the students to mark the occasion. The Diwali hymns and the rhythmic dance mesmerised the audience with their graceful moves. A speech was delivered in favour of cracker-free celebrations. Vinny Malhotra, the vice-principal acquainted the children about the significanceDiwali. She asked the students to embrace greener and safer modes of enjoying this festival. — TNS
