A panel discussion on “Key challenges of SMEs” was held on Sunday. Sachit Jain, Managing Director, Vardhman Special Steels Limited discussed that SME has been facing numerous issues, including capability, markets, lack of funds, new technologies, HR, payments etc.
He said industrialists should educate themselves by visiting global markets, international exhibitions so that they can focus on product quality, elimination of waste and professionalism.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, Managing Director, New Swan Multitech Limited and president CICU said there is dire need for upliftment of industry in terms of lean implementation as it will lead to better value addition for the industrialists and growth of the MSME in the state.
He said in today’s scenario of global competition, achieving excellence in business has become important. It important for sustaining the present business.
Neeraj Arora, Assistant Director MSME-DI said the government had launched an MSME mobile app, in which one can get new updates of the Ministry, guidelines and also fill Udyog Aadhar for online.
The programme was attend by more than 150 businessmen and participants coming from various industries, including auto components, hardware, garments and textiles, bicycle components, agriculture machinery, horticulture equipments, machine tools etc.
