Khamano media gets land for press club

Fatehgarh Sahib, Feb 13

With the efforts of Bassi Pathana MLA Gurpreet Singh GP, media persons from Sanghol and Khamano got the land for constructing a press club and the MLA handed over the documents of the panchyat land given on lease to them at Sanghol today. Addressing the gathering, the MLA said: “If we want to save our democracy, we should strengthen the media. It should be given a free hand so that it can highlight the social evils and wrong doings of the people in power.” —OC
