Looking forward to welcome 2018 in style? Well, you will be brimmed with choices for the glamorous New Year eve parties. Just another year is about to come to an end and it seems like the industrial town is all geared up for the last hours. The city is buzzing with news of exciting gigs and parties on the New Year’s eve. Everyone is chalking out plans to go for a binge on the year end. From quiet dinners and house parties to partying and going to clubs, the anticipation around celebrations is skyrocketing.

Kajol (23), an INFD student says, “We have planned a girls’ night party on New Year. It is my birthday, so that calls for the double celebration.”

Akhil Sharma (35) was over the moon for the New Year’s party. “I had booked tickets for Goa a month before the New Year’s eve. I will be rollicking with my friends in the midst of beaches and wines.”

At the same time there are some, who are not fond of partying. Jaswinder Singh along with his family will be going to serve the needy at a local gurdwara. Another ardent religious follower Siminpreet and her family are all set to go to Amritsar for the New Year.

Then there are some like Niharika, a student of PAU, who has some lavish plans. She is going to Dubai with her family. She says, “I can’t wait to see fireworks amid skyscrapers. It will be an unprecedented moment of my life.”
