Man commits suicide

The Khanna Police has recovered a suicide note from a scooter of a deceased, who identified as Sukhwinder Singh. He was a resident of Rajewal village and was found dead in a truck, near Khanna.

The death of a person had raised a controversy and the police is verifying this matter. As per information, Sukhwinder was a driver in a private firm situated at Mohanpur village near Khanna.

On June 18, a company official telephoned at his house about his body lying in a truck . The body of deceased was taken to his village and he was lit to flames and no case was registered in this regard.

Later, after two days, when the scooter belonging to Sukhwinder was taken to his house where the family members recovered a suicide note in which the deceased had mentioned two officials of company responsible for his death.

The family members of deceased had handed over the suicide note to the Khanna Police.

As per Gurmel Singh, SHO Sadar Khanna, the police was verifying the letter and would take an action after enquiry
