Ludhiana: The principal of Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Manjit Kaur, who has 23 years of experience in the field of education, has been conferred with 'Mother Teresa Global Award' for individual achievements and distinguished services. She was awarded by Randhir Singh, former Governor of Sikkim, at a seminar on economic growth and national unity in New Delhi on 14th May. “Any recognition for me is the recognition of our teachers and staff at Guru Gobind Singh Public School. We all work hard together to provide a great educational experience,” Manjit Kaur said after receiving the award.
Drug awareness session
OPBMS held a seminar ‘Young People and Drugs’ hosted by Dilbag Singh. The seminar was thought provoking, stimulating and highlighted the drastic consequences of drugs important in order to bring an end to the currently prevailing.
English speaking class
Planet-E-School organised a visit for students to a private institute, Khanna, for special spoken English class. The aim of the visit was to enhance the communication skills and confidence among students. The school Principal Suman Arora encouraged the students and said, "These kinds of classes help in building up career opportunities for students.
