NGO urges people to help 9-yr-old cancer patient

LUDHIANA: The Navchetna Bal Bhalai Committee has donated Rs11,000 for the treatment of a nine-year-old blood cancer patient, who is a Class IV student at Government Primary School, Bulara, Ludhiana.

The Navchetna Bal Bhalai Committee has donated Rs11,000 for the treatment of a nine-year-old blood cancer patient, who is a Class IV student at Government Primary School, Bulara, Ludhiana.

The child has been undergoing treatment at the PGIMER, Chandigarh. The student got ill after vaccination at the school and after a check-up, the parents learnt that their kid was suffering from blood cancer.

Doctors say the cancer has spread over 90 per cent. I have started to lose hope as I earn only Rs10,000 per month.”

President of Navchetna Bal Bhalai Committee Sukhdhir Singh said: “I urge people to come forward and donate generously for the child.”— TNS
