Northern Railway extends 12 trains to Katra

presently runs between Kanpur Central and Jammu Tawi now stood extended up to Udhampur.

The Northern Railway has extended 12 long-route trains running from different parts of the country to Jammu Tawi and Udhampur to Vaishno Devi for the convenience of pilgrims intending to travel to and from Vaishno Devi, Katra.

Railway officials said these trains include 12445/12446 New Delhi-Udhampur-New Delhi Sampark Kranti Express, 16301/16302 Chennai Central-Jammu Tawi-Chennai Central Andaman Express, 16317/16318 Kanyakumari-Jammu Tawi-Kanyakumari Himsagar Express, 11449/11450 Jabalpur-Jammu Tawi-Jabalpur Express, 19803/19804 Kota-Jammu Tawi-Kota Express, 12471/12472 Bandra Terminus (Mumbai)-Jammu Rawi-Bandra Terminsu Swaraj Express, 12473/12474 Ahmedabad-Jammu Tawi-Ahmedabad Sarvodaya Express, 12475/12476 Hapa-Jammu Tawi-Hapa Express, 12477/12478 Jamnagar-Jammu Tawi-Jamnagar Express and 14033/14034 Delhi-Udhampur-Delhi Jammu Mail.

Train no 14155/14156 which presently runs between Kanpur Central and Jammu Tawi now stood extended up to Udhampur.

The extended run of trains to and from Vaishno Devi, Katra, will commence between August 31, 2015, and September 7, 2015, in accordance with their days of running.
