Religious book gifted to former PM

LUDHIANA: The translation of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s immortal hymns titled “Japuji Sahib - A Prayer Book” by was presented to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, by the author, Ranjodh Singh on the occasion of Prakash Purab of Guru Granth Sahib.

The translation of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s immortal hymns titled “Japuji Sahib - A Prayer Book” by was presented to former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, by the author, Ranjodh Singh on the occasion of Prakash Purab of Guru Granth Sahib.

The book has been translated into English, Punjabi and Hindi. “Hymns of Sri Guru Nanak Dev have an essence of the Vedas. They define the Supreme Almighty. The book has a universal appeal to mankind.” said Dr Manmohan Singh on the occasion.

On this occasion, a photograph of The Golden Temple (Darshani Deori), was also presented to Dr Manmohan Singh by Ranjodh Singh and family.
