For the convenience of railway pilgrims and spurt in passenger traffic during this season, the Northern Railways authorities have announced extension the of run of special Pune-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Pune train. The 02135/02136 AC superfast weekly train will make two additional trips in each direction.
The 02135 Pune- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra special train will depart from Pune every Wednesday at 5.15 am on August 9 and 16, 2017, to arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 8.25 pm the next day. The train will have an 18-minute stoppage (12.35 to 12.53 pm on Thursday) at Ludhiana.
In the return direction, the 02136 special train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 5.40 am on August 11 and 18, 2017, (Fridays) to arrive at Pune at 8.05 pm the next day. The train will have a five-minute halt (11.50 to 11.55 am on Friday) at Ludhiana.
Comprising 14 AC 3-Tier coaches, the 02135/02136 Pune- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Pune Superfast Weekly AC Express special train will stop at Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Mathura, Delhi Safdarjung, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jallandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations on both directions.
Augmentation
According to the railway authorities, the 24155/24156 Allahabad-Udhampur-Allahabad bi-weekly express train will be augmented by one additional AC 3-tier coach from August 5 to 29, 2017, (every Tuesday and Saturday) when departing from Allahabad and from August 6 to 30, 2017, (every Wednesday and Sunday) when departing from Udhampur.
