Cherubs celebrates Earth Day

Cherubs Pre-school celebrated Earth Day to make tiny tots aware about environment, global warming, importance of trees etc.



Cherubs Pre-school celebrated Earth Day  to make tiny tots aware about environment, global warming, importance of trees etc. Students wore green dress which symbolised green environment. All the classrooms were decorated with green balloons, green ribbons, and green potted plants. The kids hugged the plants and promised to save them. 

Spring Dale Public School

Spring Dale Senior Secondary Public School organised an awareness campaign against use of plastic. The theme of the year’s Environment Day was “Beat Plastic Pollution”. Over 154 students participated with full zeal and raised slogans say no to plastic and save earth.

Sacred Heart School

Tiny tots of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, BRS Nagar, celebrated Earth Day. A special assembly was organised to mark the event. Teachers presented a small play with an aim to sensitise students about the importance and ways to save planet earth.

Drishti Dr RC Jain School

Earth Day was celebrated at Drishti Dr RC Jain Innovative Public School. Celebrations went on for a week and children participated in collage making, poem recitation, and slogan writing competitions. Students discussed issues such as carpooling, reduce use of plastic bottled water, energy efficient bulbs, save water, making bird oasis.

Everest Public School

Earth Day was observed by organising a special assembly at Everest Public Senior Secondary School, Moti Nagar. Students performed a play “Save Mother Earth”. Principal’s speech inspired students to go green and care for environment.

Benefits of fruits 

Students of ABC Magical World School welcomed summer fruits with delight. Kids relished fruits delicacies including fruit chaat, mango shake, banana shake, orange juice and fruit candies. On the occasion, teachers explained health benefits of consuming fruits.

Freshers party at Shamrock

A freshers party was held at Shamrock Christian Senior Secondary School with a lot of jubilation and fervour. Students came dressed as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Jadu etc.

Orientation programme held

Guru Gobind Singh Public School organised an orientation programme for parents of Class IX to XII. The session started with a welcome note by Dr Manjit Kaur, director, of school. Parents were briefed about guidelines of new CBSE examination pattern.

Students visit old age home

NSS and Arya Yuva Samaj unit of DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana, visited Nishkam Sewa Ashram to seek blessings of senior citizens. They shared grocery and other household items of daily utility for the comfort of aged citizens. Around 120 student visited the old age home.

Hand printing activity

Hand printing activity was held at GMT Public School, Jalandhar bypass. All the students of primary section displayed their imaginative power. TNS
