Six robbers held with 27 mobiles

LUDHIANA: The police on Thursday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers with the arrest of six of its members.



Ludhiana, April 12

The police on Thursday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers with the arrest of six of its members. The police have recovered 27 mobile phones and three motorcycles from them.

The accused have been identified as Amrik Mishra of Mundia Khurd, Suraj Kumar of UP, Satya of Jamalpur, Manpreet Singh and Arun Kumar Kancha, both from of Mundia Kalan, and Sonu of Focal Point.

The ADCP, Rajvir Singh, said the accused robbed innocent people mainly in the areas of Moti Nagar, Sahnewal and Jamalpur. — TNS
