The inaugural edition of the Imperial Golf Trophy Challenge will commence at the Golf Course at Imperial Estate here from October 1 onwards.
Participants from different parts of Punjab and those from the NCR region, including amateurs and professional golfers, are expected to take part in this competition. It will be a nine-hole par 36 contest and will be played at the course designed by Nicklaus Design, a wholly-owned company of golfing legend Jack Nicklaus.
According to a press release issued by the chairman of the Emerald Lands (India) Private Limited, Pradeep Jain, the golf course will be a real challenge not only for the golfers having various levels of handicaps, but also for accomplished golfers.
Imperial Golf Estate promoted by Emerald Lands (India) Pvt Ltd is developing 280-acres of unique golfing community living in Ludhiana, abutting the Ferozepur Road in Mullanpur. First phase of this much-awaited project is almost complete with various types of residential accommodations available, the release added.
